Barshoe here, well after coming to Gunnison last year for FR4, I've been raving to my son, Killian
about what a great place it was! I suggested several times that maybe, if he kept his grade's up, we
might make a trip to Colorado this summer of 2012. Well, he did and we did. In fact, I am at this very moment
sitting in the Holiday Inn in Gunnison Co.
My only hesitation about making this trip was the memory of last years event. No, it wasn't the people
or the place or even the fact that I was horribly out of shape having waited out the healing of a badly broken
ankle the previous April. It was in fact how poorly handling my stock 2011 570 was! It absolutely sucked.
I had thought about various suspension make over companies, but I was for some reason leery, and didn't
pull the trigger. I kept thinking it must have been my 56 years and just couldn't ride anymore.
Well, I contacted Dale EO and shipped him my stuff and got it back last week just before we left for Co.
I didn't even ride the bike before we left!
Well, today we rode up Cement Mountain connecting to Deadman, etc... re-riding the day one ride from last year.
WHAT A FRIGGING DIFFERENCE! The bike was great in the water bar whoops, front end was glued to trail
wet or dry! Down the 30 switchbacks on Deadman trail, it was bitchin. Stuck like glue and tracked perfectly.
I can't wait to try it in the desert back in California where it was absolutely HORRIBLE before the work was done.
THANKS DALE, you were right!
Awesome being here again! And, a quick thanks to Fritz Kadlek for re-jetting my son's Suzuki two-stroke
yesterday, on the fly. Bike ran great today at 11,600 ft.
That's it.................

I'll second that...even though I've already written my "review" of Dale's work, I'll jump in here again to say he did a great job on my bike and was more than helpful over the phone helping me understand tuning better and is still willing to help any time. With Dale you get a great suspension at a very good price, but you also get a person who cares about your satisfaction and will help you down the road where other companies are "done" with you after the sale.

It's been a while and I'm due to reset the sag so who knows...maybe I"ll be calling Dale again for some advice to get her back to where she needs to be. Once the spring breaks in you do need to dial it back in.

Ride on...

hey Barshoe,

hope you and the good lady are well.

whilst Dale hasnt done any suspension for me he's been kind enough to lend me a bike the couple of times i've been over and they always handle well.

at FR4 i was talking with Dave, the texan chap who's retired to Gunnison, and he said he found the handling strange on the test 390 they had.

I'd ridden the 390 and it was handling like poo so i told him to ask Dale for a go on one of his bikes as that is how they should handle.

Think the big difference is to alot of the major suspension shops is that Dale rides alot himself and is very precise about how he wants the bike to work best for each customer.

cheers

Ok, here we go. You guys are brutal. I didn't know this was going
To turn an *** snapping session! Sorry Dale, I should have kept my
mouth shut!
