KTM TO BERG FORK SWAP

Hi Everyone,

Quick question, has anyone swapped a set of KTM 640 LC4 forks onto a 1997-1999 FC 501 before?
How difficult or easy is the swap, any advice welcome!!

Question, why would you want to do that?

I thought the Berg's came with the conventional WP 50mm extreme conventional forks.....probably one of the best forks ever made.

And which year LC4 forks?

Hi Dale

Don't really want to!!!
Can't get hold of the fork protector guides (see the wanted section :roll: )

Like the looks of the upside down forks, will bring the looks up to date and the bike has been SM'd

Taffy thinks with the tripple clamps and stem of the KTM it should swap over.

Forks are off an 03 LC4.
