Ktm shock for 09-10 'Berg ?

Hi all.

Since I'm going to be a father (first time) in May I thought that now is the time to get myself a real treat. What I hear from friends the amount of money available for toys for myself will be reduced - a lot. So I bought this beautiful FE570 with tons of extra trick bits on it.
Engine: Ported head, Akra header and silencer, ported throttle body, slipper clutch, ignition...
Chassi: DevTech swing arm, SXS supermoto forks, Magura brake setup, changed steering head angle, triple clamps...
Extras: Cycra hand guards, seats, plastic...

My major concern at this time is if I can get a used KTM rear shock and put it on my new 'Berg. From what I can _see_ it could be possible but I need to know before buying one. I don't care if it needs modifying, I'll gladly take that over having to buy a new stock one. Anyone with ideas??
Before anyone asks why I need another shock I'll give you the answer. The stock one was modified for Sumo racing and I need one for enduro use.

AFAIK the KTM and Berg's shock are not phisically the same, internally yes (to some easiliy changeable extent). So direct swap is not possible :(

I have same problem.. Front forks from 07 EXC rebuilded for supermoto and I havent shock.. My mechanic said only shock from 09/10 Husaberg can be used.

Your Berg have real nice extras. Isnt from factory SuMo team? What is real benefits of devtech swing arm? You have 5,5 rear? Your ignition? And your triple clamps offset? I trying to make good SuMo race bike, but I also want enduro setup for winter days. Thank you for your time.

EDIT: What gearing was on bike? I have 13/45.. I havent sprockets for long trying. Thanks

5.5 rear fits easily in stock 10 SA, of the FS570. It is also exactly the same rim offset needed for KTM LC4s SA, just the tyre has to be mounted in the other direction.

I knew that they were a little different but didn't realized exaclty how little room there was for the canister between tank/frame.

My main idea right now is to see if it is possible to cut off just the top brackets off an KTM shock and re-weld them so that the canister get the same angle as the 09-10 'Berg. The main concern with this idea is if it will take the punishment when the rear wheel "pop out" for instance when leaving a jump.

The second idea is to gut of the canister and in some way re weld it in a new angle. There is a firm here in Sweden that did lots of shock work to get twin muffler systems to fit on the older bikes.

The third idea is to get brand spanking new Öhlins TTX rear shock
Actually the TTX is some 70-75% of the price of a new stock WP shock. At least here in Sweden.

Any ideas ??

Yeah, I got the bike from a friend of mine that last year was a "Team Sweden" rider. Got all the extra but the carbon fibre wheels. They are reeeeeaaaaaaally nice but a bit to expensive for me.
My rear will be my old 5", the CF ones were 5.5". A pair och Marchesini or Alpina (blue/white) wheels would be nice...
I think the clamps are 11mm. Important is to know that the frame has been cut and welded with another steering angle to fit the reworked rear shock and the SXS forks.
The rest of your questions I'll have to put on hold for a little while...
