just like to give you all an update on my1995 501, the berg with the ktm 525 rod is still going strong after many,many,many hours of thrash, and the WR and YZF boys still can,t live with it!

Cant really see a 525 rod in a 501?? all 525s had 35mm pin.
However, a 450 SX or SMR rod kit I can understand with a bit of work 0n pin length.
But I'm thinking later 501s- perhaps the 525 rod is a go for the older 501s??
