KTM plastic on a Husaberg

Hi guys,

I'm converting my 94 FC600 to a supermoto...
Everything is done, but I want to put new plastics on it too...
I live in Belgium and there are not many bergs around here, but it's very easy to get used KTM stuff... So I was wondering if it's possible to fit a KTM tank.... Because of the wide berg frame... Anyone know if it's possible, before I buy it....

Thanks in advance,
Jeroen

hello jeroen

use the search feature to get what you need and chase old threads etc using different phrases and words.

can't think of a ktm tank that would be an easy fit on a berg. lotsa misalignments everywhere. why would you want a ktm tank?

Can't find any used berg tanks overhere and a new one costs alot of money... It's a budget project... I can find many cheap used SX tanks , that's why...
Are there any differences between a 400-450-650 tank? I need the smallest one...

Cheers,
Jeroen

have food look around the site and especially in the doc on the left of screen index. also, put a crazy load of questions in the search feature.

the same tank was fitted to absolutely everything from 2001 to 2006 and even then the 2006+ still fit. you'll have more trouble having one sent via UPS thanm you will uying one at a good price my freind.

tip: get them to take the taps off, stick the fuelling mouth on the tailpipe of a car and leave it there whilst the vehicle idles for 15 minutes. the tamk is now safe to pack and post but don't lock n load ya hear!

early tanks to '99, later tanks from 2000 up, but a late tank could prolly be made to fit early style with some drilling and welding and still might not match the seat lines. the early model fc style tanks are visually similar to the late tanks and the early enduro tanks are totally different than anything. only 0.1 gallon difference in the two. later stock tanks hold more.
