I am looking for a little guidance.
This is on my 07 450. It is a factory bike so it could differ a little.
After removing my starter and the gears inside the primary area I have a knock when it runs. It runs fine, doesn't vibrate or anything. When I was pulling the sprag gear I pulled the clutch basket out and the primary and idler gear got out of sync. I then put them back in sync. All this was done without the crank locked. I started it and it knocked. I then locked the crank and took it apart and made sure all the stars were aligned, it looked fine. Put it back together and it still knocks. It is almost like the counter balance is hitting something a little bit. Doesn't really sound like the valves but I am going to check them today......
Any ideas?????
