can i make an appeal for anyone with an old knackered stator in the shed to send it to me as I'm getting desperately short? we can perhaps barter a whole sheep in exchange....

too many people promise that theirs is on the way (in exchange)....

knackered stator ? throw it away and go to www.electrex world uk as i have a 2003 fe650 that has eaten 3 recoed stators at $330 AUS.common problem with these is that the epoxy resin encapsulatingthe stator expands and contracts excessively with heating and cooling thus breaking the light guage wire found in the stator.electrex have solved the problem by not using this method plus expanding from a 12 stator to an 18 pole stator with 3 phase high output/fast charging option.upon ordering this stator it arrived on my doorstep after 6 working days for $300 AUS incl postage.turn around time for a reco unit was 1 month with the certainty of another failure.I highly recommend this option it will save you $ and replacement kick starters.have installed 3 pase reg of GSXR 1100 no more flat battery problems, hope this will help ease your frustrated husaberg dreams Hi to all concerned.
