I'm having trouble starting my bike. I installed a new battery cleaned the carb and replace the spark plug. I have great spark so I decided to check out my electrical. Using a standard test light the orange kill switch wire is slightly illuminated while the key in on and fully lit up when the key is off. Does that mean it is slightly engaged keeping the bike from starting? I would also like to get rid of the key ignition for I only use this bike for the trails so if you have any insight on how I would go about that? Thanks

the kill switch is there to earth out current. if you keep putting a test light to earth from it you are always going to have current!!!!!

the positive to the handlebar switch on a Husaberg up to 2004 was always sending the current off (I forget where) even when off. from 2004-2008 it was held in abayence with no way off. best way too.

just leave the red, green and black bullet connectors connected and leave the orange from the coil so it can't touch anything and then with the plug in the cap - kick it hard and see what you have?
