Bought the kids some new pit bikes recently, couldnt believe the poke that these little 125 and 50cc 4 strokers have got, pulls me (23 stone) and my son about effortlessly. 125's a good bit of kit too... upside down forks, alloy everything, well impressed!

I can only wish I had a bike like this at that age, I had to wait till I was 25.

Yeah its a nice old bike, its the RL250 not built for speed but major torque, gets over any obstacle, i used to ride it to take the kids out but as they got faster bikes i had to look for something quicker, thats how i ended up with the Berg (fool).
The Beamish i bought from an old guy around the corner from me, came with the original manual and everything... only paid 450 pounds for it!
It was a nice bike but a bit tatty so i stripped it and painted/titivated it a little and thats what i ended up with.
