Kick starter problem.

Help!!

I have a 650FS 2008.

I have removed the gearbox cover on the left side of the engine to replace the sealing on the water pump.
Then i hear a sound from the kick starter while removing the case..
Now that I'm going to reassemble, the kick start will not move.

It is completely stuck.

What should I do?? Is this difficult to repair?

It just needs to be reset. Nothing is broken..

Nothing to worry about, the spring has disengaged when you removed the casing. Plenty of threads on the forum about it.

Thanks! That looks easy, but what about removing the clutch etc. ? Do I need any special tools? Cause I dont have any of it.. [emoji848]

Yes it can be done, bike in gear and a rattle gun on the clutch nut, be careful if you've not experienced with gun. Plenty of threads on the forum. If your not sure buy or borrow a holding tool, that nut is tight! You don't want to break anything in there!

good thing to know is to always keep a thumb on the shaft as you are removing the cover so it doesn't pop out.
