Has anyone tried this carb on a FE450E? Will it work? Does it give the bike a noticeable hp increase? Thanks for your input.

it's in the doc my freind. i think it goes along these lines: "the 41mm carb helps ever engine - even the 400".
i admit that that isn't very clear though so i'll get in there and change the wording, dumb it down a bit....

Now that I think about it, I do remember something like that in the owner's. But I do so love hearing it straight from the horse's mouth. BTW how difficult is the mod, something that an ignorant wretch such meself could handle all by me onsies?

I got a FCR 41 on my FE 380 e. The guy who build the engine told me that this carb made better throttle response from idle than the 39.
I have newer tried the original carb on the 380 so i can't tell you the difference.

My 06 fe450 has this carb on it . I find that the bike rev's harder and gets up to higher rev's faster.I am about to rebuild this engine for the second time in less than a year. At this point I will post the jetting combination. It has a full Ti exhaust also. I do not no the about extra HP but the bike will go over a 100 miles / hour on the highway.or 160 KM
