Hi All

This might sound lazy, but i have a ride coming up reeeeeeeeel soon and the coolant weep hole is telling me to change the shaft seal.
There seems to be no water in the oil, so is it possible to change only the front seal ( not cracking the side cover) and fix it.

Yes, you can try. You have to drill the seal, put two screws in it and pull it. Be careful.
 
even lazier just put a 3mm screw in the weephole :D

I have mine tapped and carry one on long rides

If i did it again I would tap to 4mm so i could use one of the screws already on the bike
