i just got husaberg 650 on a 07

and love it to bits

i just got rid of a svx 550 which i lost £4500 after blowing it up 2 times i was getting ready to race it but damm thing just let me down

so i come to one of these things which im crazy about it
just got get slip clutch, full system going on have filter and some viper extreams for summer
the breaks are good and handles great (bit slappy at high speed) very good compare to svx not as fast but not far off and i have to get all bits on so it looks promising
for me the husaberg looks to be very good bike and worth spending some money on is the engine solid any issues before i start spending ?
any info would help me loads
got the bike of dave and he has set it up and looked after it

Hi Chris, welcome. You're not the 1st person I've met who has had problems with the SVX, friend of mine has blown one engine with only 17 hours on it, had it rebuilt at a cost of £1650 and ran it for 2 hours to break it in and it went again!
Check your rear sag with regards to high speed wobbles, if thats ok then try dropping the forks a few mm. Mine used to shake really bad over 80ish until I dropped the rear and front.

YEP SXV POO BIKE

had nothing but problems with my sxv and mine did the same engine rebuild then 2 weeks later gone again i had 3 starter motors 2 clutches 2 engine rebuilds and many other issues and it only had 3,000 miles on clock so bad bike thank god its gone

but i love this bike just hope have better time with this one from what i read its not a bad thing

will try adjust mine does slap very bad
