I to all, I have just bought a 2002 enduro 650, went looking at a xr 600 first but decided not enough power so I remembered a Dave Clark moto I had a few years ago and looked for a enduro version, found one with all the battery and starter mods and it started nice and strong on the button, so I bought it for a bargain price of £1400 with only 1200 miles on it. I only had my jeep to get it home so I took front wheel off and squeezed it in. When I got home and try and start it, it wouldn't fire up for nothing, flattened the battery and nearly killed my left leg from kicking, found out all the oil had come out the engine breather and into the carb inlet. Anyway I got it going but smoking for ages then took plug out and cleaned it, but it feels like a cold two stroke and won't go like the bwaaap it should do, any ideas anybody

Ok thanks, I think you are right with the carb clean because I dropped the float bowl and lots of oil in petrol came out, the carb looks fiddly to get off but a must

Heyup Bandit, I'm originally from Wigan, but live not too far from Dave Clarke's shop now which is very handy as it's not too far to go to give him all my money!
