that happens to be one of my best friends, he gave me some information regarding a complete new Husa 09´been develop at the plant (Mattighofen) he visits the plant at least 4 times a year and they share some info, for example they told him about a complete new frame made of ultra lightweight frame probably made of titanium, yes you read right, they want to have a complete bike under 85 kg for a 4 stroke¡¡¡¡

Hope this is right and will get to see all that development on a production bike¡¡¡¡¡

Always rather skeptical about claims like the one above.
tend to put them in the same class as " a bloke in a pub told me...."

ktm may very well be working on a light weight frame but out of Ti. That ain't going to make production.

they already produce a steel frame that is as light if not lighter than the competition.

if half of the ideas that manufacturers came up with went into production then by now we'd all be riding sky bikes thru the clouds.

hopefully the bikes will get some major revisions. i've said a new frame previously but they really need the ideas to come on stream now, fully sorted and be planning what they'll be producing in 2011 to keep ahead of the game.
