Do you know which way the oil flows through the oil filter? also did you have to modify the original oil filter housing at all or were all of the mods in the filter cover?

The oil flows from the outside in. The mods are all in the cover. Make sure you use an in line filter as you cannot fit one in the stock location with the custom lid.
