This last weekend Jocke entered the first round of the Italian championship. The results were not what we have gotten used to in the first races up here in Sweden.

Short story:
Frenchman Jonny Aubert was quickest both days in Jockes class. Lots of top riders like Micheluz, Merriman, Belometi, Botturi, Ahola and Mattila. Jocke finished 9th (total 23) the first day and 6th (total 19) the second.
To make a long story short (I have some work to do as well :wink: ) the tracks were extremely fast and hard as concrete, Jocke says. He continues - "It was a big changeover going from studded tires to what almost could be called Supermoto".
Now he is on his way to Mattighofen to pick up "a proper bike".
- The prototype has had some faults that I hope is gone on the new one. Unfortunately Björne got the word that his 570 won't be ready for Östersund so he went home right after the suspension tests. The Austrians have had some problems with the EFI.[/url]
