Just got the latest version of ADB & reading an article about V8 supercar drivers & their lust for the better life riding trailbikes. Apparently ( & I say this dubiously ) Steve Richards dad, ( the legendary 'Jim Richards' rides a Husaberg FE 550e at 60. 8O

Good on him I reckon.

Maybe we should get him organised for the Husaberg ride in '08  Great promotion for the brand name, might even get Steve on one yet ?

Wadyareckon :?:

yeah ... but jim knows a lot of people .

he would have got it for next to nothing , it's all about advertising .

see ... we are talking about it already .

Sounds like a good plan Wal Jim Richards is an absolute legend, be good to get Steven on one to.

I think the Kelly boys ride the Blue bikes, so maybe we could get them to convert to a Berg for the weekend !!!

I'll have my guys call their guys & .............. Not as silly as it sounds though. Most of these guys are just like a normal punters when it comes to having a fat time relaxing.

Last year I sent a few emails to dirtbike mags about the force ride for 08 & got a response from 2 saying they were interested in doing an article & would love to be invited. Once we,
( Cafey18/Steve & crew ) do some recon with a plan & camera, it can be sent with an invite. More convincing that way. Any other ideas ??

We just have to be a little careful with inviting the media as the guys down at Wallerawang were pretty pissed off when the Jurassic track was publicised. The guys who cut it in spent a lot of time doing it and the last thing they wanted was riders who struggle a bit on it, digging big ruts when they get stuck on the difficult spots and stuffing it up. But it's a free country and the struggler's have just as much right to access the area. I can see both points of view though !!

Garry.
