I've tested the 2006 FS650e :-)

Went to my dealer today yo test the 2006 range of bikes.
Unfortunately they didn't have any FE's left so I had to settle for a spanking new FS650e instead.
Didn't feel all comfortable without my leathers. But i could feel that the tank seemed a little bit narrower, the brakes had a bit more bite (I'm guessing they have the same pads as standard now as I have put on my bike) and the engine felt like the gearing was something like 14/42 or something like that = really impressive.

Is the 2006 model with warranty? And what about engine changes? What has been changed over the 2005 models?

Regarding warranty you have to ask your own countrys dealer. No engine changes that I've heard of.

Indeed it is.
But no major change compared to my 2005 FS605.

That's it I want one but do they come in force edition too in 06?
IMO these are even better or at least equal good. You get all the goodies the "Force" had but with a newer look. The 2006 gives you a wider choice of putting together your own bike as far as plastics are concerned. The only expensive part of the "force" was the tank and on the 2006 it already is darkdarkdark blue. The only setback from the real "force" model is the lack of 16cc in th engine which is not noticeable unless you do real tests back-to-back.

Thx for the info and I guess if I want it black I can always buy aftermarket plastics.

Does the force was coming with a slipper clutch?
