Just a quick thanks to this forum. I bought a 2001 non running fe650e with 1900km on it. Using the docs and the search button I've sorted out most of the issues with the 01. I haven't had any luck getting it started. After a weekend of re reading everything, today I checked TDC using a dial indicator and reset everything. Still no go. I put some gas in the sock like I saw suggested and the beast lit. Now it hits first try on the button. Wow, what a great sounding bike. Now that I know it runs well, I'll get to work sorting the rest of the bike.
