I sold my beloved Husaberg on Saturday. It really is/was the best bike I have EVER owned but my style of riding had taken a turn and it just wasn't doing what I needed it to do.
I'm taking a long trip this summer so I needed a new bike to take me there.
I bought this. It's an 03 with 5000km on the clock.

I have to say a HUGE thank you to everyone here who helped me out, hopefully I have helped a few myself. I'll still poke my head in here daily to see what's going on and to keep tabs on the 09, I still want one of those babies.
Hoyt has offered me his 550 any time I want to borrow it so I'll still be able to get my fix.

Thanks Bruce, I know I will too.
I'm currently looking through my favourites deciding on things I need to get ordered from you.
I'll be in touch this week.

That is a sweet bike and barely run in.

If you ever need advice a buddy of mine (Island Hopper) has run one for years and knows them inside out. He's a super nice guy too. PM me if you want to get in touch.

Good as they are I don't think I could live with "just" a Berg and I'd say you have a pretty good compromise there. As one door closes, another opens.

Happy trails.

Adventure

:D
Congrats kelsow! Cool bike!
5000km? Not even broken in!

What now? HardParts? Tyres?

Cheers, Goran

PS
I`m waiting to see new 700 Adventure ...

RE: Adventure

Hey Kelsow,
Look like Goran influenced your choice of bike! Too bad you had to sell your Husy. I've been looking for a nice 640 also. We'll miss you on this site but I noticed that you are already making waves on the adventure rider site! :D

I'll still be around here as my blood is still blue not orange.
I hear rumours of an adventure type bike from Husaberg so my absence may only be temporary.
I've been a member since 04 I think on ADV rider. I don't post much there as those lads can be tough. They can be like a really cranky Taffy.

I suppose I do owe Goran a beer for sending me in the right direction.
I just didn't "feel" a KLR was quite right for me.
Berg-KLR, polar opposites.

Heya kelsow,
That is one sweet ride you got yourself! Looks like you're gonna be doing some fun long-range rides in the future. We look forward to your ride reports and photos. Glad you're sticking around!
