Brought my FS650 back home from the few miles down the road where i had stored it for the last few weeks, just overtaking a car when it locked up, fortunately only a mile from home but still a long push, and then it started raining to add insult to injury.
Only had a quick look at it, oil seems milky and no (or very little fluid in the radiator) engine still seized solid. I fear this could be terminal.
The engine seemed to run fine and was enjoying being back on it, the only clue there was a problem was that it would not idle properly on the way back. No funny noises.
It had a full engine rebuild at Dave Clarke less than 50 hrs ago. What's the opinion is it likely to be salvageable?

sorry to hear that mate. could be anything really couldn't it?

I have a 2004 450 engine here and a 2008 coming if either are any good to you. could look at yours, diagnose it and then swap?

some people have a lot of bad luck in the north of england? funny that.... i wonder why?
