Just wondering if anybody knows of any company that makes a slip-on can for a 2002 FE510E. I know Big Guns used to, but when I called them, I was told they no longer make 'em. Any help would be appreciated.
Is there any aftermarket exhaust out there?

I don't think the Big Gun will pass the new noise regulations in Ca.. The Big Gun is extremely loud. I had one on my 470 and took it off as to not attract the wrong type of attention.

may be a silly question but what do you want one for. lighter weight? crash repair? more go?
the owners doc reckons that he fc pipe fits nicey on the fe with little sound increase and a slight performance increase so as long as your not after weight reduction or bling that could be an option.

USFS Approval - Would be nice
I know they have spark arrestors in them, however they are required to have a USFS stamp on them as well. I plan to run mine till I get pulled over and ticked/warned about it, but it would be nice to have that stamp. I will be pissed the first time I ride it 2 hours to have to turn around if a sharp ranger catches the fact that it is not there.

Thanks for the great response. yeh, unfortunately, i contacted the the seller of the Ebay Big Guns pipe and he told me it would not fit the Fe501. tuts, im very interested in your exhaust. is it a slip on or full exhaust? thanks everybody!
