I am sure this info is already up, but I could not find.

Is there a replacement/upgrade to the ignition/stator on my 91 fc501???

not really?

it has floors but we do our best...

Husaberg in the early days used as much Swedish stuff as they could.

Thanks for the info. I am looking for info on replacement ignition systems for the 91 501. I was hoping a later year Berg, KTM, Husky ignition would be the easy retro fit and increase the reliability of the bike.

well I can't think why you can't fit stuff off a 1998-2003?

I would say

ignition cover
flywheel
stator
coil

later is better but it still suffers from water ingress to the stator.

perhaps you could PM Ned37?
