CAVE JUNCTION, OREGON
Good evening,

I just recently bought a 2010 FE570, I absolutely love it!!!

That being said, I have been doing a little research online and have found that there is getting to be fewer and fewer parts available for the 70 degree Husabergs. It seems crazy to me that a bike model that was last made 3 years ago (2012 I believe) has very little available for it.

Has anyone else noticed this? or ran into any situation where they have had to park their bike because a lack of parts resources to fix an issue?

Is it also true that entire Husaberg line has been discontinued?

Maybe I haven't been looking in the right places, Maybe I'm just paranoid, but as it stands I feel like I need to stock up on every part I can find.

Cheers,

Yes, basically I was told that husaberg is now gone... only KTM and Husq are making bikes...

Except for the rear shock and colour of the plastics my 2013 TE250 is the same bike at the 2014 TE250 Husqvarna motor and all .. for me the Husaberg line still lives on under a different name and colour

When I compared the online photos of the new Husa vs Husq (don't know the model, say 501)... the only discernible difference I saw was the rear swingarm and paint.

KTM just changed the name from Husaberg to Husqvarna. The tech and engineers are the same and the BMW's Husqvarna tech is sold to GasGas.
One could hope for a future 70 degree husqy....

That is correct ...and the rear shock on the Husky is a WP Monoshock with linkage and the Berg is WP Suspension PDS 5018 DCC direct to the swing arm ..except for that same bike i call them Huskybergs ;)

At least the 70 degree bikes are mostly KTM parts, the '08 and older models are the ones to worry about.

Face it, the '12 and up Bergs and '14 and up Austrian made Huskys are just blue and white KTMs with minor changes.

Yep, the husky is really a berg that really is a KTM. No denying.

They are different in handling due to different geometry and engine tweaks, but changed KTM's yes. Lets hope that due to huskys more known name they will be an easier sell and in return give them more room for independent development.
