I am currently awaiting delivery of a brand new FE570 - on its way from New Zealand.
There are no parts dealers here, so while I was at the dealers I bought a good supply of all the neccessary spares, including engine oil and oil filters. After discussions about why I was fitting a fan and buying a coolant additive that lowers engine temps, the dealer suggested I would be better off running the Motorex 10w60 engine oil rather than the 10w50. Here in Vanuatu we often ride really tight first gear stuff in stiffling heat (30+ degrees celscius and very high humidity) and bikes boil every time...
Can anyone who is knowledgeable about oil comment please? I just want to confirm that I won't be damaging the engine using the higher grade stuff...
