When my wife was in labour i went to go get some Twisties and a Coke cause the Dr said it would be a fair while. And her mother was in there with her and they gave me the ok. Well i am at the Cafeteria about to scoff my face and then the nurse comes telling me the baby is on its way.

17 kids and i could not build up the courage to be present for any of the births .

After my twin ***** we decided it was enough of our own kid and now we foster/adopt.
I don't know risky, when my wife was in active labor I was sitting next to her reading a Dirt Rider magazine. It was tough 'cause I kept having to put the thing down and I was reading a good article. :lol:

Good luck with that! You must not have gotten cable TV yet! Just like at my house, 5 kids....cable TV ushered in the baby factory closure....now I have plenty of willing riding partners and allot of excuses to go for a ride...

17 Kids?? - 5 Kids??? - One is enough for me, and the second is on the way anyway!
I was there for my daughters delivery, the midwife must have been the same one at Faktors kisd birth, cos she was wandering around without the slightest of concerns, she wasnt even in the room when she started crowning, I nearly delivered her.
Wouldn't trade that experience for the world, bloody emotional and nerveracking event though!
