The 130/80/18 was an excellent tire. Just rode with the 120/80/18 for the first time today. I like them both
a lot. Great traction everywhere. Because of this the 120 doesn't even seem small and I can almost say I like it
more because of increased maneuverability of the bike.
So for now I will be enjoying this one.

I am putting on a M5B 130/80/18 66M as soon as I use up the rest of my maxxis desert.
I'm holding it in my hands right now.

I did a michelin M12 XC cross competition 130/80 and I > would < do it again. I broke my inner hub and clutch cover and then pinned my bike all the way home like 40 miles on a grave road and thats what woar it out. It lasted pretty good, no chunking and hooked up.

I have been running the M5B 130 on the rear for a number years now including on the 390. The ranges where I ride serve up everything in the space of a couple of klms. It does a great job and wears well. My conundrum is a good front tyre for the 390. Still got the stock 6 Days on it but its too unpredictable for my liking. I thinking of trying the IRC Vulcenduro (I think its called this). Anyone used these?

I put on a Pirelli scorpion mx extra 120/100/18 to test. The hook up is not as good as the 130 IRC but the
wear after one ride of hard pack including severe jagged rock was impressive. It only rounded off a little of the
edge. Looks like a long lasting durable low cost tire.
Im still a fan of the M5B but for certain conditions I might stick with this one.
The 120 M5B was a little small and after wearing down some did chunck pretty good on jagged rock.
It is a soft terrain tire though. The 130 faired better. Got to love the M5B traction though
For the front as I mentioned before, the Pirelli scorpion pro is a favorite. But it wears a little too fast for me
and develops that flat top look too early.
I like the Michelin desert front that I have on now better. This tire does not wear out half as fast as the scorpion pro. And even though deep sand traction may not be as good , everywhere else is great. And because of the rating of this tire and the construction (also DOT) I don't worry about pinch flats and high speed stability is great.
Its expensive but worth every penny.
I will try the Pirelli scorpion xc ms after this tire to test. I have heard good things that I would like to confirm for myself.
The bridgestone 403/404 combo are my tires for motocross but not for dual sport and extreem off road conditions
