New member in the US here, contemplating buying a 96 FE 400. Talked to the owner already who seems very knowledgeable and had the stator rewound in Spain and maintained things himself. I feel good about what he's told me, I too do all my own work and if it's something I've never done, I learn how to. So what I need to know is parts sources as of today. There is a lot of out of date info to sift through here and elsewhere. Any plastics from other year models fit? Engine parts? What about parts from other makes that fit? Any and all info greatly appreciated 8)
