Hy everybody, i'm italian and i don't speak a very good english....
I'm about buying a new motorbike but i'm not sure on which one.
I was thinkin' of a husaberg 450 or 550 but even on an KTM 250 exc or the 450.

What do you think about them?

i would be so grateful to you if you help me........

and I am trying to decide to buy a Husaberg FS 650 but older, like 2002.

I would recommend to You a 2004 or 2005 model Husaberg with my heart.

Anyway I have to say, I have no experience of the other models....

so coola man..italians, finnish, americans....it look like an international forum.

As you suggested me I have contacts with the italian importer, who has a fe450 e model and a fe550 e running this week-end but for sale from next week at the price of 5.500€. These models are 04's, but the main problem is about the fact that as I will decide so sell it (in 2 or 3 years) the bike will have no future in the market 'cause there's not a great "movements" of this brand in italy......I'm not sure about buying it, I even consider possible to buy a KTM, wich whenever I will want to sell I can do it in 1 week

I think You are getting a great price! Both bikes are very good and I would take the fe550 e with 5500 immediately.
Bikes are used ? (Sono usati, quanti km hanno?)

I have not bought mine yet, but very close, let me know if the importer makes a good deal for both of us !

it' s a surprise 4 me to find so many italians here.....the bikes I have talked about are an FE450E and a FE550E (2004 model), both "used" , wich means that the importer has used them for a few times, as advertising 4 the brand.
Unfortunately more and more people is advising me about the very small market of these bikes in Italy, and I'm sure that as I put it on sale I won't find anybody who'll buy it.........
Anybody knows something about KTM 450 EXC RACING?
 
However i found a husaber 450 e 2004 new at 6500 Euro.
I need a review..can anybody of u help me?

guarda grazie mille x l'info, ma sinceramente mi sto orientando sulla ktm......l'h va forte ma il gioco nn vale la candela se poi mi incazzo nero quando il conce mi cide che nn vale + un cazzo.....tu xkè nn consideri K?
 
perchè la kappa mi costa almeno mille euro di più... inoltre il concessionario a cui mi rivolgo è un concessionario ufficiale per cui non credo proprio che l'anno successivo possa dirmi che la moto che lui ha venduto non vale nulla.
Sto solo aspettando di trovare qualche recensione valida in giro per l'husaberg.. sai qualcosa?

Guarda che nn ti devi fidare, UNA MOTO CHE IN UN ANNO PERDE 2.000 EURO DI VALORE (2004 la trovo a 5500, 7500 +- nuova) quanto pensi varrà tra 3 anni???????????

nn so mi sembra un inculata comprare sta husaberg............pensiamoci bene.......come si chiama il conce?fa un ottimo prezzo.........

I have done over 30000kms on my Monster 1000 and it will be hard to sell,
but I could not think while riding that I am loosing value.

I want Motard, but also an enduro, if the price is right would go.

I think here in this board there are many happy 2004 FE 450 owners !

As for the Husaberg Values, I know that in italy this bike lose quickly value.. but I am thinking 'bout taking each year an Husaberg in sales of the previous year giving the old bike back to the same reweller where i bought it, and buying the new one from the same reseller..So I think that in this way i'll pay each year something like 1000/1500 Euro for a bike that's always new... Think 'bout it.. if u keep a bike for more than one of two years and u use it heavy u should consider the maintenance cost for it....and the bike is always old....:)
So I think that for next years i'll ride always an Husaberg... By the way, i really think that this bike is as good as a Ktm.. The same Engine, similiar forks, a great frameset for both.. AND HUSABERG IS HAND MADE!!!
