Hi okle,
I have 40 hours on the 570. I will try no 2 at the enduro next weekend and see what i get when racing.
Maybe the 450 is a bit better than the 570 with fuel ?

Ok, closely monitored fuel range on fe570 on no2 full power map.
General trail here in UK gives 10-11 miles per litre.
Full out enduro racing gives 7 miles per litre.
Looking at TBM mag, all FE models now feature a low fuel-warning light. The sensor can be placed either way up (bullet type) to inform you that either three or two litres of fuel remain. Trouble is they have recessed the 2010 tanks to take the fixing plate for the sensor. Still might be worth a look to mod the 09s though. Wish they had done it first time round like the bmws.
