The logitech vapor comp on my bike is telling me that it is doing about 1400rpm at tick over. Not sure if this is right or not. Does anyone have a view? Maybe the vapor is reading too high due to one of the factors I put in to it to programme it.
Bike idles evenly and exhaust note doesn't sound too high revs. Acceleration and top speed is something else. It got the drop on a Triumph daytona 600 tonight, very satisfying but I have the feeling I'll be having Gorrilla arms before long just to hang on to the bars.
The bike starts on the kicker after 5 slow kicks with the choke on and no throttle, then one strong kick with the choke off and no throttle. Starting on the button is abysmal. It seems to crank at 300rpm with the manual decomp pulled in and drops to 100rpm when the lever is nearly back out. I wouldn't mind too much but for me to kick it I need to find a kerb or grass verge to put my right foot on so I can get enough force on the kicker with my left leg as the seat and kicker are too high. Goodness knows what I'll do if I stall it at a road junction. I am trying one technique of balancing on the bike whilst it's moving slowly and then standing on the right foot peg and kicking it, looks like a circus act!
