I was looking for a big dirt bike.
On FB Marketplace, a guy was selling a 2001 FE501 with a clean title.
It needed a new fuel hose, air filter, and battery, and inner tube for the front tire. (holds air but will deflate after 5 days) but the kick start worked, and it started right up.
It has a Rekluse Clutch kit, electric start, WP suspension, custom made aluminum skid plate and came with an extra "desert tank" (never used) and all the original parts from where they were upgraded with aftermarket.
Plastics were in good shape, iridium plug, tires almost brand new (a Pirelli desert/enduro tire out back)
It has an onboard GPS, and the whole parts manual/catalog printed and put in a binder.
I paid $1500, delivered to my house 30 miles away with 3/4 tank of good fuel.
