I went to change the clutch on my 02 650, all was going well, until i put it back together, first thing i noticed was that the clutch felt like it was stuck, it wasn't doing anything at all, just had a solid pressure to it, so i removed the engine cover once again and re-did it all, I tried the clutch without the cover on...same pressure and no movement of the clutch whatsoever .

i decided to remove the slave cylinder next to the sprocket,I open it up to see if it was moving down there, i put a piece of steel inside the hole to see if i could move it manually... nothing.

put it all back together, now its not pressurising at all, just keeps drinking the fluid from the master cylinder but not actually having any effect.

The other problem i have is that when i started it up after changing the clutch, it had a rattle from the left side of the engine, its only there when on idle, not when revving above idle.

and the last thing... there's a small hole on the water pumps impeller housing, and it decided to start pissing the coolant out, could it be a seal not in place?

It was a simple job thats now caused me more stress than ever, anybody have any help?

I'd say you cut your water seal or, as you say, it is not in place. Did you wrap the shaft in elect. Tape before you installed it? I would also check to see that you have the clutch assembled properly. Make sure the pressure plate is installed correctly. Hopefully you can fix both by only pulling the side cover once. :D

didnt wrap the shaft, is it a major thing?
and clutch has been assembled twice now, i have the 4x1.4mm plates in the middle section as per manual, main concern is the clutch put actually moving at all, could it be the slave cylinder... or worse, inside the gearbox part?

Phoned DCR and they said it was the shim that goes on the end of the clutch push rod. got one in the post.

seems ive been filling my engine with brake fluid where its been leaking straight through.

filling my engine with brake fluid
and causing yet another operator error... clutch should run on mineral oil, not brake fluid... "you should have known"
