I know this is short notice but is anyone interested in a ride (Lancelin to Cervantes) this Sat 11th December.

(Bikes need to be licenced.)

Load bikes Friday night ready for an early start 5.30-6.00 AM

Arrive Lancelin 7.30-8.00 hit the track 8.00-8.30

Get to Cervantes at about 11.30 lunch at the pub.

Back to Lancelin about 2.30-3.00 home around 5.00-5.30

Rob from perth here mate i do that run all the time but wont be able to do it this time due to recent shoulder op,and no the injury wasnt from riding my bike.Anyway we have a few crew that do that run so keep you in mind for next time so send me your details and ill contact you when im up and running for a run up there.

if someone swings past Esperance and can pick me up on the way out to lancelin and drop me home after then Im in :D :D

it would only be about an 1800km round trip
 
HMM might be cheaper to fly Johnny Quest over :)

What are the riding opportunities down there and what is the riding like? Are there lots of areas to ride and lots of types of riding? I realize it's a huge country so I assume the options vary widely. Maybe I'll be willing to pay part of my own way if the riding is really great. :)

I had breakfast in Brisbane and I believe dinner and a one-night stay over in Sidney a couple of years ago (to and from PNG or maybe Tonga), but that's the only time I've been in your world.
