ofcourse not done by playing tennis, I damage riding and over excersicing on the gym, I haven´t been able to ride in about 1 month, and the pain stills very strong, The threatment I have been doing is ice, and laser threatment, but I can´t see any improvement!!!

Has any one suffer from this?, any had injection of cortisone? any feedback will help taking a decition???

How about a holistic approach? Sometimes I get quite fatigued from work, stress and caffeine consumption to the point where I am just burnt out and can feel the inflammation in joints, chest muscles, lungs etc., I then use licorice root tea and extract to recover in addition to stopping caffeine intake.

Tennis elbo is a nagging problem. Just getting over one on the right. Try Zheng Gu Shui. It's a natural Chinese External Analgesic. Rub it on 2 or 3 times a day. Morning and night prefered. If you can find it. Its at Chinese herb stores . Also, its good if you exercise your arms once or twice a week with light curls and hammer curls. Just a few sets to get your arms pumped. Even with a little pain you need it . It will heal.Im talking light as in 15 or 20 pound dumbels. The cortizone shot works, but if it returns, refrain from excessive shots as it can crystalize the tendon. I lifted weights religiously for over 10 years. Iv'e had numerous injuries. I go light for the past 5 years just to stay in shape.

I hope that you start to get well within a year so that at least in 2011 you can ride your bike again painlessly. Regards.
 
i used to get it when i did racketball a lot. it allowed me to learn how to play with the other arm. won't help much on the bike tho. one thing that helped if it is indeed lateral epicondylitis is the simple little tennis elbow brace: an elastic band with a rubber ball in it that you place next to the site which keeps the tendon in place (and a lot of anti inflammatory meds).
i'm currently recovering from a fractured radial head in my elbow, and i understand what you're feeling. its hard to ride with problems in the elbow.

thanks for all your comments, I will try to get the Licorice root, I think it can help, I am also fallowing the doctor´s recommendation, I am allready using the brace is helping. hope I can get well and ride again.
