I need help!!!!

I have a hydraulic clutch on my quad and it only works when it wants to.

I have bled and got proper pressure but after 1 day or 1 ride it leaks out pressure and turns into mush

I know the thing is leaking I just need part #'s to fix

It may or may not be setup different from others I dont know, it is however different from my ktm setup.

It has a large bolt with two copper crush washer's on the part where the line hooks up to the hydraulic unit itself. these leak I obviously need to replace.

It also leaks where the little red bottom is, I was wondering if there is a rebuild kit I can use that will work without having to buy the whole unit

Sometimes I think a cable would just be easier, These hydraulic clutches are excellent when they work properly but a pain when they don't

Any advice will surely be appreciated.

Of course I have asked my local dealer and he don't know squat as usual!

Thanks

Cory

try a new 'O' ring down at the slave cylinder. it's not the same as KTM BTW.

worked for me!

Is slave cylinder located on the side of the motor?

This has all been reassembled by lineaweaver I am confident in his craftmanship.

The problem lies in the unit on the handlebars

then sort it out at the bars then-you don't need me. so having failed at that, perhaps you'd like the results of the kentucky derby-next year!

anything else i can help with.....

Hi Enforcer4,
The slave cylinder piston O ring is quite possibly in need of replacement.
Such a leak will go undetected as it dribbles into the crankcase via the right transmission mainshaft bearing.

Regarding the clutch master cylinder:
A rebuild kit is avaialbe direct from Magura and / or most any KTM / Husaberg dealerership.

The system volume is small making any leak a real problem.

Best Regards,
Dale

Ps
The Banjo fitting, bolt and crush washers used on your quad are not that of an OEM Husaberg MC.

Thank you Dale I may start working on it soon I will keep this thread going until it is resloved in case anyone has similar problems.
