Husy FC 501

I am looking at a used 1999 FC 501. What can anyone tell me about this bike? I know nothing about them. It is a left kicker and my left knee is not the best wondered how thet are to start and what it might be worth. Any coments welcome. Thanks in advance.

It should be a fun bike if it has been properly maintained. When in a proper state of tune the bike is no harder to start then any other racing 4 stroke. Starting the bike usually requires knowing the particular starting technique for each particular bike. Make sure the current owner can show you the proper technique for starting the beast. If he cant start it, you may want to reconsider.
As far as left foot starting goes, alot of guys will kick it with the right foot standing besides the bike

The bike has only been ridden 3 times one was a MX race now the guy has gone on to Dual sport. He wants $2500 it sounded like a good price to me. Do the require allot of maint? I was looking at it for woods riding not sure if that would work? Ben
