That first diagram doesn't that carby looks not sitting in far enought ?? I guess manifold boot looks very short, I guess
 
it's short.. but its better than my cracked old rubber boot. when connected, the fittings are exact. no airleaks. no sputtering. 1st kick , starts right up..
