Graham Cheney took a respectable 7th overall in the Unlimited class yesterday, Sunday Oct. 17,2004. This was my first Supermoto race and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I will definitely be comming back for more. The pits were wide open to the spectators during the entire race which made it nice. I got to meet Mr. Husaberg Supermoto himself, Brett Saunders and Super racer Graham Cheney. Anyone that goes that fast on a 650 Berg deserves to have super before his name.
Brett Saunders and Graham Cheney are both gentleman and took time from their busy schedule to chat a bit, pose for some pictures, sign an autograph for my son, allow me to poke around their pit area and generally get in their way. What totally floored me though is that Brett brought my backordered parts and gave them to me at the race!! Talk about customer service. The parts in question were the 04 battery box and 04 550/650 starter bracket. These parts actually came off one of the race bikes as they removed the starters from them. So I received my parts and some Husaberg race memorabilia at the same time!
Thanks Supermoto Team for putting on a great show for everyone, being so kind to my family and going out of your way to help me out. If there is anything I could ever do to help you guys out please let me know.
