Hi,
I am a new member who is looking to make contact with other Husaberg quad owners. I have recently acquired a Husaberg Enforcer 600E and would like to trade information with anyone who has any experience with these rare machines.

try contacting our members Enforcer4 and Motoxmaniac they both have kick ring Quads.

Thanks! I know about those two. I am hoping there are more.

How many did they make? How many are
still in service? How about KTM quads?
I hear they made some with the 520 motor.

Enforcer 4 Quads

AS far as i know and have been able to trace there were 15 built 4 were raced into the ground and 11 went into the market place 5 made it to Australia of which i have one and i know of another person here i know only of three others.2 in South africa and one in the States.

I contacted Husaberg and they said that they only sold about 40 units worldwide. Apparently a Mr Laurent Ferrari in France did all the manufacture and Husaberg just supplied the motors. They did not tell me how many 400's, 501's and 600's were manufactured or how many were electric or kick start. I know that 4 came to South Africa. 3 I know of and I am trying to trace the fourth. They seemed to get a very bad rap here and were deemed very unreliable and did not seem to finish many races. Apparently weak ball joints seemed to be one complaint. I am still rebuilding mine which has had some new A-Arms fitted(different from stock). I have ridden it a bit and it seems to handle like a dream, but once it is complete I will take it out into rocky terrain and check out how strong it is before competing in cross country/endurance races with it.
KTM has never built a genuine Quad of there own, they also outsourced the frame design and manufacture to Roll Design in the States and just supplied the motor. VOR apparently went the same route.

Hi Bomba,

Where about in South Africa are you?
Have you contacted Husaberg (Viking Off Road) in Jhb? Vic may know.

Cheers
B

Hi,
I am in Cape Town. I have contacted Vic and he is on the lookout for the fourth quad. It used to belong to a lady in Johannesburg area but he seems to think that it is rotting away on some bike shop floor somewhere.

Come on guy's how about some pics of the rare beasts
