why, why, why doesn"t sumbody make a slimline tank to drop the cg and give the bikes a smaller more flickable feel? Im,e sure most owners would buy 1.
Care to share yor source of information about this???fryguy said:There is a slim tank coming, available through Husaberg parts, around Christmas time.
Check with your dealer then for availability

Sounds great. Then we won't have to buy the omeromoto alu.brookester said:Hi All
I was at D.C.R. the UK importer last monday, he also said that a slim tank was coming soon. About 7 litres in size, personally i think they`ll sell them all, the bike has been crying out for one for ages :wall:

yehasalamander said:yor obviously not a racer powercell, each n to their own i suppose, anywhow have u thought about getting an auxillary tank made out of alloy to fit neatly underneath the seat re-airbox space 4 those long haul trips, either that or trade in at occ choppers! from tight n twisty england.
PowerCell said:I do have the factory aux tank. It definately helps, but like many who ride the desert, we need a good 150 mile range. It's not uncommon at all to ride 300 to 500 miles in a day here (and never see your truck... )
Maybe in the states there is a 10:1 'cause you do a lot of desert riding. Here (Europe) however we don't have the same need for long range. At least in Sweden I'm guessing that some 50% of all ads you see are SM bikes = 20minute races or shorter hooligan raids in town.PowerCell said:Just a Guess-T-Met, I'd say it's about 10:1 for bigger not smaller. People want to ride their 'bergs, not hangout at the truck...
Jocke_D said:I want a smaller, slimmer tank that holds some 5liters and I want it in blue, black and yellow so I can design my own bike just the way I want it
Do note that I also want a, what, 20 liter tank so that we can see more 'Bergs in races like the Baja etc.
