Hello - I am thinking about semi-retiring my '84 Husky and getting a Husaberg. From reading through the archives, I would be most interested in a '97-'00 FE400E. How hard is it to get parts for these bikes? Is every part for these still generally available or are they becoming scare? Thanks for any input.

Parts are easier to get than for an 84 Husky.
You wouldn't happen to have an extra SEM
stator for a 83-84 Husky would you?

I am going to go out on a limb and say that most parts are still obtainable. It may take some perseverance at times, but that pertains to 05 parts as well :D

you need to call a dealer for this info. if you're from the Uk then S and S, DCR, GG and SR off-road are your boys.

if you're from the states-well i'm sure the boys will put you right.

Taffy

I would try Motoexotica or gngcycle.com. Either of these are excellent dealers for obtaining Husaberg parts

Letco couldn't help me.I will try the others.
I didn't mean to rob this post. If parts
availability is the ONLY reason one hasn't
purchased a Husaberg I'd say go buy
one. If you live in New Orleans your
parts will get there before your food does.
(As long as you don't shoot at the UPS truck.)

I would like to say that we have came a long way in the last couple of years with parts with most items being readily available to all dealers. There are many good dealers who have good stock of parts and when they do not have it I like to think that I do. If you are having a hard time getting something let me know, drop me a line. Maybe I can help.
