I have now got to the stage where no unreasonable offer would be considered i don't know why these bikes won't sell i think it is to do with dcr undervaluing his second hand stock as this passes directly onto us,but i wouldn't like to have all that money he has tied up in used stock you think he would distribute all those bikes through his network on a sale or return basis :?

Problem is not limited to UK same thing here in the US for the 2001 fe 501.
I cant give mine away. I had one offer of $800 but I think the wheels and forks are worth that, It even runs and starts off the button plus new tires, battery, rollers, updated rockers, new clutch including basket, and all new bearings. I just want a new one and cant afford to have three bikes. I think I am going to part it out on e bay in a few weeks after the force ride here in Moab. Good luck selling yours.

Get rid of a bike? You can do that? When you only buy a new bike once every 5 or 6 years you start to forget how to get rid of one. Once their paid offI only get rid of them when I have to (like being sent to germany for a few years).

I have to side with Berger on this one. I just hope the market for used bergs gets better in the coming years....I'm already getting the itch to get a new one....the 05s are SWEEEEEET!

dollars

waht are you looking for? out completely from the husey or are you happy to get a % of cash in your hand?

DCR is bad news to all his dealers. they can't sell anything up to 24 months old because everything on his forecourt is so bloody cheap!

i never slag DCR without prompting but it's easy to do.

people set me up and i keep batting them over the pavillion!

fe600

i am thinking of buying a 2004 fe 650sm this summer, but i have to sell my old 95 fe600 sm. by watching every thing said in this post i think i would better keep it for my children......
no, i don't have any child yet.

Taffy i am just after getting my cash back out of the bike while i take a break thanks anyway.

I am sorry for your plight, but poor knobs who can't justify a new bike don't mind the second hand 'berg prices so much. It is probably the reason why I bought mine, but not the reason why I like it.

I guess there are two sides to every deal, it is just a bitch when you feel you are losing out.

None of my mates will buy a Berg , even though they like mine , due to their spiralling second hand value , but , another factor is my moaning
about spares from DCR , seems everytime i order something i get the
wrong order , or , it turns up 4 days after you needed it !!
The last time i ordered some parts i was told how LUCKY !! i was to be
getting them !! , I run my own business and if i told my customers how LUCKY ! they might be to get something they would turn round and tell me to F*** OFF !

IT'S ENOUGHT TO TURN YOU ORANGE SOMETIMES.......!

I try and defend Dave (D.C.R.) on this site, but i can see were you are coming from with the orders :crybaby:. All i can say that he is getting better than he was with the help of Alex doing the ordering :yikes: . I usually get my spares the next day (give or take a week  ) no honestly he IS getting there.

DOLLARS
why not try a raffle for your berg spoke to spiney who go,s on visor down someone there has just set up a raffle 98 people buy a ticket for £40 worth a try :?
regards
steve

If i could get enough interest in a raffle then i would consider it at £45.00 a ticket i would only need 100 people but who do you trust to collect the money and pull the draw sounds like a job for taffy to me.Just as a thought any money raised above the asking price coukld go to jason to help with the site.

Sounds a great way to get rid of your bike DOLLARS, is it worth selling the tickets in TMX
