Anybody think Husaberg is going to get bigger than Ktm in the enduro market?? Hard to see Ktm coming down off the top but as we all know its gonna happen sometime. I'm finding everybody at the Races are loving Husabergs cause its different than a Ktm but just as reliable

Also I can see Husquvarna making a huge comeback in the Enduro market, The new 250 and 310 seems very good

I don't know? I certainly loved my KTM, but I bought the Husaberg because it offers things that the KTM's lack that enduros should come with. Also after searching the web, I've come to believe the Husaberg offers the reliability thta is needed for my type of riding. My KTM has been ultra reliable, so this issue is s push, but with the small items that Husaberg has in their favor, I decided to make the switch for my new bike. I'm about to find out, I'll pick my ne Husaberg up Friday, if the decision was a good one.

either way if they do become bigger than ktm its all mone for ktm as they bought out berg!

somehow i dont see KTM letting it happen.

would Toyota let Lexus get bigger than the parent company?

Hmm, Ownership of Husaberg has been brought up before (and on other sites)... I think what ever Gain Husaberg may edge out, KTM will keep the rains on it from a Business point of view (Sadly).

From what I have been reading, The BETAs are becoming very popular in the US from the trail riders, Possible for them to become a threat?

And when Husqvarna went to Beemer, I said to any one whom would listen. BM, "WANTS IN" And I wouldn't be surprised one bit if they step it up and start playing with the big boys in the Dirt playground!..... And now, Well.
They've brought a bike to the table. Full of innovation....
Personally, I don't think BMW have shown all their cards yet.. I sense BM have their eye on a bigger picture here... who nows?

Blue sells better than orange, simple.

I agree with the Lexus / Toyota analogy, although its a very fine line to choose between Husa & Ktm.

When I went to buy my new bike in 2010, I had decided on a SXf450. When I got to the shop there was a Nagle replica (with orange frame) side by side the FX450. The orange frame really put me off and the blue and yellow was so funky, with EFi and 70 deg motor, easy to service air filter, etc. No brainer for me. Never looked back.

Hi, it has been while since I was active here and I don't want to cause anything.... But I heard that in a few years time we will only see blue/yellow KTM's.
Heard this from a few guys who don't know each other but have a link to either KTM or Husaberg of some sort. On said they would even drop the engine they now have!
Anybody else hear this?

had to read this twice to get what you meant.

you mean they might drop the 70degree engine and just do as they have with the 2st and stick blue plastics on the 4st bikes as well.

who knows.

rumours are wonderful things, look at all the rumours that turned out to be complete crap that were floating about prior to the launch of the 2st bikes.

This article is really about the revival of the 2-T, as evidenced by the recent success of factory riders such as Mike Lafferty, Nick Fahringer, Taddy Bladdy, Mike Brown, Graeme Jarvis, Chris Birch and others. New generation 2-T products will take market share from 4-T through the introduction of EFi.

I think KTM may use Husa as the platform to launch this new tech, much the same way the 4-T Husa led the way with EFi before KTM.

The modern 4-T still has a preferred place in my stable - me being a weekend warrior just out to have fun, the motor is so forgiving and easy to ride.
