Husaberg FS650 03 No Spark

Hi all, this is my fist post here and i am looking for some help please.

I have a FS650 03 and it has no spark. I have just fitted a brand new stator as the old one was only making 1.5k OHM and not the 3k. After fitting still no spark so tested new stator witch is just over 3k ohm so all good there, i am getting around 35v from the black and red wire when kicking over, i have checked all the wires all seem ok and i have disconnecred the orange wire still no spark, is there away to test the sem cdi/coil unit? if there is anyone that could help me it would be most appreiated.

the I.M needs to be tested on anotherknown bike that is a runner. send it up to me and i'll try it on mine. if its Ok i charge £24inc and if it is faulty and you have me repair it then the 'test' is free and you just pay for the repair.

Thanks Taffy, I was able to get this tested on a mates mate bike and it has failed, how much would it cost for the repair please, also do you no much about the HPI cdi and coil setup for the bike

I don't get them repaired anymore as I couldn't maintain a profit margin at the prices I was paying. so look for Bradford Ignitions down at Hythe in Cornwall. 'Sparks is the fella.

I sell new Chinese ones, they last about the same under water. the simple answer is don't let them get wet. they don't though 'give up' like the OEMs just through age. £192 and 6gbp post in the UK. I also do instructions on remarking the flywheel and correctly setting the stator (clue; it isn't in the middle!)
