hello

can somebody tell me the difference betwen husaberg FS 650 E and FS 650C( racing version with no lights of supermoto) ?

Is there much difference in horsepower, engine, transmission?

How much horsepower has the FS 650 E(C) 2007?

What is the top speed?

In which gear can you still pull whellies with no problem?

thanks for help

The sprockets are different giving a lower gearing on the fs650c.
The fs650c has no thermostat.
Not sure if there are any other differences, other than lights, indicators as you have mentioned.
Wheelies, some people could probably pull a wheelie in any of the gears, unfortunately I am not one of them!

Cheers spanner.

Comes up easy in fourth with a little pull on the handlebars, shift up into fifth and it stays up nicely. Easiest bike there is to wheely, very controlled not 'jerky'.

Mine is a 2002 650 E, geared 15 42

can you tell me how much horsepower has your berg on rear wheel?

Wich oil do you use and how offten do you change it?

Any big problems with the bike?

What is the top speed with this gearing?

thanx alot

Mine has 54hp, but is 'tuned' for more midrange instead of HP.

Use any oil I can get my hands on. Change it every 500km's, oil +filter every 1000, valves every 1500.

Lot's of big problems, but since mine is a 2002 you cannot compare it to the 2007 you want to buy, all of the problems were eliminated after 2004.

Don't have a speedometer so no idea about top speed.

In short, I don't think there is a more powerfull (power/weight) single cilinder out there. It is 'race ready' so that also means, more maintenance than a more civilized bike.

If you are looking to buy a supermoto, another advantage is, that the braking and suspension are allready very good quality so no need to upgrade there.

I have a KTM 520 exc 2002 converted into supermoto for about 3 years now

It looks like FS 650 e but it has 510 ccm and only about 45 horsepower on rear wheel

It weighs about 115 kgs

Also my Ktm was hard enduro in original and the gearbox ratio probably is not the best for supemoto riding

I can wheely my ktm in 3rd gear with 15/ 43 gearing

(in 3rd gear max speed is about 60 MPH if I rev the bike to the rev limmiter-10.000rpm)

but in 4th gear no chanse for wheely with this gearing

Can somebody give me comparison just how much stronger is the Berg in comparison to my ktm? is it very brutal from 6000 rpms and up?

And how is it rideable thru corners .....? thanx for help

on my 2004 Fe650E i can pop wheelies in all but 6th on dirt Tyre's and 15:48 gearing but on supermoto i use 14:38 and i can pop wheelies in all but 6th. AWESOME BIKE but its in pieces now :(

tell me why is it in pieces?

wich year is the year with no engine problems if you maintain it properly?

does it backfire when you rev it in neutral beacuse I once saw a guy on motorbike meeting who rev his berg and the backfire was awsome i believe he had fs 650 e 2000

my bike is an 04 and the mainbearing on the left side failed and destroyed my liner and piston :( I think the 05 and up are the best bet they, have the bell shaped crank much More rigid.

is it possible that the 05 year and up aren,t so powerful like your 04 berg.... or they have the same power?

i've been told it both ways but i believe the '05 produce less power but with a better and stronger crank and big end pin.

Taffy

My 05 has 628cc. They reduced it from 04. Im very happy with it and wouldn't have it any other way. I've got 78 hours on it after an 80 mile trip today. No issues. Im no wheelie king , but I do know with 15/45 gears 3rd gear feels the most cmfortable with the roll on throttle wheelies. I just gotto get past my comfort zone to shift into 4th and keep it going. One of these days. If im experianced in off road terrain then I should be able to get this one down. I keep my foot resting on the back brake lever to build confidence but
haven't reached balancing point status
