Husaberg FS 650 2008 camshaft condition

Hi, after opening the head, I noticed some signs of wear on the camshaft and the roller. Is it okay within acceptable limits, or would it be better to buy a new camshaft and roller?

Also, if the roller has just a little side play, is that okay?

looks fine to me. you should be holding the bearing and trying to wobble it up and down.

Up and down is absolutely no play, I only feel the play in the side, but I think that's fine.

So the cam seems to be ok?

yes, it is the hardening that is flaking and it is only flaking on the edge and not the important middle.
