Husaberg fe650e '03

Hi guys,

I have an XT500e wich...ok i bought it for starting with bikes. Got kinda bored of it(it's 186 kg ffs XD) and started looking for new (used) bike. Till I saw a berg of '03 at a price i can afford.
I wanted to ask, what's the maintenance of the berg, i want to use it in my town to go from a to b since i have no other mean of transportation, and since i live in crete(greece) , wanted to go on little trips(max 300 km).But mostly i want an enduro bike, wich is light and without useless plastic so i be afraid of breaking. Can husaberg cover these needs of mine?

I wouldnt class it as an every day use bike, but theres no reason it cant be.

As long as your prepared for the very regular maintanance then you'll be fine. The more you look after it, the longer it will look after you.

Also, its a very powerful bike, this being your second bike id treat it with lots of respect if you want to stay off the tarmac.

As for the long ride outs, as long as youve got a hard *** - you'll be fine

What's the frequency of the maintenance?and it is expensive? since i have not a job for now....wich means only from parents...

500km's oil change, 1000km's oil filter, 1500km's adjusting the valves. And by then the rear tire is gone if it is a supermoto :mrgreen: So no, it isn't that cheap
