Hi! I'm getting desperate.. I'v got a husaberg fe550 that keeps takeing in water in the compressionchamber.. I'v changed the cylinderheadgasket 3 times! The last time i bought new bolts, new gasket and had the cylinderhead leveled(dont know if thats the correct word) and preasuretested and then i mounted everything according to the workshop manual with the correct tourqe.. And I was able to ride for 45min before the bike stalled because of the water entering the cylinder... Fyi, There is no water in the oil.. Anyone got any idea what the problem might be?
Ps: sorry for my bad English.. Mvh Micke

I have the same problem, I am in the process of solving it. I have a head from 501 2002 which does not have the bleed screw and the water channels are not matching well the holes in the cases. Now I am waiting for last parts for newer head. My old head was tested, should be ok, but it was tested cold. Some cavities open themselves only under heat. that is also the reason I want to try the newer (another) head. if this will not help, I plan to put a gasket from thin aluminium (from beer can) under the sleeve. Your and mine problem can be, that the upper edge of the zylinder sleeve is lower than the upper edge of the cases, which is quite a common problem. Another thing I plan to change is to install silicone hoses, new clamps, Bel-Ray MotoChill antifreeze and new radiator cap. After I installed just new radiator cap with stronger spring, the symptoms were 3x more visible. I will share my experience after I have it solved.
